Hon. Sakirat Adedayo Celebrates Oyetola On His 70th Birthday

A grassroots politician and philanthropist, former Vice Chairman of Olorunda Local Government, Honourable Mrs. Adeoye Sakirat Adedayo, has congratulated the former Governor of Osun State and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, on his 70th birthday.

In a congratulatory message signed by her Special Adviser on Media, Honourable Sakirat praised the Minister as a patriotic Osun leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who transcends partisan boundaries and embraces statesmanship in his contributions to the development of the state and the APC.

The former Vice Chairman of Olorunda Local Government lauded Oyetola’s undying passion for the development of Osun State and Nigeria, which was evident in the projects he implemented during his tenure as Governor.

Describing Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as a thoroughbred politician who connects easily with the people, Honourable Sakirat noted that the former Governor is well respected for always speaking truth to power.

She added that the Minister embodies the virtues of courage and resilience for which the people of Osun are known.

“We celebrate a distinguished leader, former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, today and remain grateful for his enduring love for our dear state, as well as his support for the current administration. Former Governor Oyetola has chosen Osun State’s development over partisan interests, and we celebrate him for this statesmanship.”

The seasoned politician also extended her congratulations to Governor Oyetola and his wife as they celebrate this joyous occasion.

While rejoicing with Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, Honourable Sakirat prayed for God to grant the Minister more strength and wisdom to lead.
