Kajola Community Applauds Gov Adeleke for Health Centre Renovation, Urges Lasting Solution to Power Supply Issues
• As NSCDC educates community members on security tips
Kajola Community Landlords’ Association (KCLA), Kajola Ede, Osun State State, has called on Governor Ademola Adeleke to equip the Primary Health Care Center at Orisunbare serving their community.
This call was part of requests by the community to the Osun State Government as they gathered on Saturday , January 25, to usher in 2025 with inter-religious prayer.
Granting an interview to newsmen, Chairman of the community who doubles as founder of the Christ Apostolic Church, Mountain of Praise and Mercy, Ori-Oke Annu, Kajola, Pastor Daniel Agbolade, lauded Governor Adeleke for his commitment in ensuring that dividends of democracy get to all nooks and crannies of the state.
Pastor Agbolade, who expressed gratitude to God on the live of all members of the community noted that there has been steady development in the community.
Speaking on the renovated PHC , Pastor Agbolade said “We thank God for the renovation of this primary health centre because it has been there before.
According to the community leader “We want the health centre to be standard to the point that patients around here would be able to be admitted there beyond a day with all necessary machineries.
“Although, the government has tried their best but we stil need them to do more, he added.
He also sought for government intervention with tarring of street roads within the community, just even as they seek government support to provide solutions to epilepsy power supply in the country
Delivering his lecture on security tips for landlords and residents, Divisional Officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, Ede West, Owode Ede, Fasheyi Olufemi, urged Kajola Community residents to be security cautious by ensuring that they know their neighbors and be their keepers.
He charged them to report any strange faces they found rooming around to their community leaders or any security agency.
He also spoke on the need to put on all building surrounding lights while not around to keep their property save.
He warned parents against allowing their children to be the ones opening gate when they heard visitors nocking on their gates or doors.
Baale of Kajola, Chief Yunusa Kabiru, appreciated all landlords and residents of Kajola for working together towards the development of the community.
The traditional leader assured that he will continue to play his role by engaging state government, cooperate organizations and industries in ensuring that all social amenities entitled to Kajola community get to them.
He applauded Governor Adeleke for what he has done to better the lives of residents of Kajola just as he pleaded for more infrastructural projects.
In their own separate sermons, Sheikh Ismail Olohun gbebe, Al-Adaby , the Mudiru Modrasatu Hamdaniyatul Adabyah; Orisumibare Owode Ede and Pastor S.O Bajepade; CAC, Oke Aanu, charged residents of the community to seek peace and unity among themselves for rapid development.
The religious leaders stressed that development and progress could only thrive in a peaceful environment.
The event, which was well attended by members of the community, aimed at promoting unity, peace, and good living among the residents.
