Drought :Osun Muslims Hold Prayer for Rainfall

Muslims in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, gathered at the Osogbo Central Eid ground on Sunday for a special prayer session, seeking divine intervention for much-needed rainfall amid the state’s looming drought.

The two-rakat prayer was led by Sheikh Musa Animashaun, the Grand Imam of Osun State, at the Osogbo Central Eid ground along Ibokun Road.

Sheikh Animashaun prayed for Allah’s forgiveness and guidance, emphasizing the importance of turning to Allah during difficult times.

He urged residents to engage in collective prayer, stressing that such unity is crucial in times of need.

Hundreds of Muslims, all seeking relief from the ongoing drought and hoping for a return to prosperity.
