Mohbad: Naira Marley, Sam Larry Get N20m Bail

On Monday, a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granted bail to the singer Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and the Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, with a bail amount of N20 million and three responsible sureties.

Naira Marley and SM Larry,and two others were arraigned and held in custody on October 6 in connection with the circumstances surrounding the death of the musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun instructed the defendants to surrender their passports and ordered them to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti

“As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department,” Olatunbosun ruled.

She also warned that no one should contact her directly on the case.

“Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings,” she added.
