‘I Can’t Kill Mohbad’ – Sam Larry Finally Speaks Out On Singer’s Death
Controversial figure, Samson Erinfolami Balogun, widely known as Sam Larry, has refuted any involvement in the demise of the singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
This follows a significant response to an old video showing Mohbad being assaulted by a group of individuals purportedly led by Sam Larry during a video shoot.
Reports surfaced online about a petition by the late singer, where he claimed to be in danger and requested police protection from Sam Larry and others.
In a video circulating on social media, Sam Larry, who had remained silent on the matter since the singer’s passing, expressed his love for Mohbad, emphasizing their brotherly bond.
In a video circulating on social media, Larry, who hasn’t commented on the controversy since the singer’s passing, said he loved Mohbad and that he was like a brother to him.
Speaking in Yoruba, Larry said, “I want to state that I had nothing to do with Mohbad’s death. He was my brother and when he was in Marlian records he knew I loved him. Even his wife, everybody knows that I love him.
“Having a fight does not mean that I want him dead. I cannot kill Mohbad.
“The videos going viral are of old events of things that happened last year.
“Zlatan is my witness. Call Zlatan and ask him.”He said.
It was reported that the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Thursday said that the police would carry out a diligent investigation into the cause of Mohbad’s death.
